A former Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, Brooke Wendle recently returned from Macau, China where she was the Associate Director of Franco Dragone’s Taboo. Brooke is the Supervising Choreographer of America’s Got Talent and is currently in her fourth season with the show under Creative Director Brian Burke. Her choreography has appeared on TV’s shows such as Orange Is The New Black, Eastbound and Down, The Carrie Diaries and Dancing with the Stars. Brooke was also Associate Choreographer on episodes of Gossip Girl and Rescue Me.
For the Stage, Brooke has choreographed Adam Lambert’s GlamNation World Tour and is collaborating with Adam on his upcoming tour starting in 2016. Other credits include RENT in Shanghai, China, Rebel Bingo in New York and London and Cirque Du Soleil’s Delirium as Dance Supervisor. Additionally, Brooke was honored to teach and train the fabulous Emily Padgett, for Flashdance The Musical. In Film, Brooke was the Associate Choreographer on The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty starring Kristen Wiig and Ben Stiller and danced in Winter’s Tale starring Colin Farrell.
Brooke will be collaborating with the Brooklyn Nets dancers for the upcoming NBA season and you can see her choreography on I Am Cait for the E! network as well as Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris on NBC.
As a performer, Brooke was seen on Broadway in Aida, Wicked The Musical and Guys and Dolls. She performed live with P!nk, P-Diddy, Britney Spears at the MTV Video Music Awards, and at the American Music Awards with Adam Lambert. She choreographed and danced in two music videos for Mr. Lambert, For Your Entertainment and If I Had You. Brooke was featured in national commercials for E-Trade and Joe Boxer and danced with Mia Michaels’ dance company R.A.W.
Originally from Texas, she is thrilled and honored to be a part of the Joffrey School teaching jazz this fall.
